Hublot Celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the Big Bang at Watches and Wonders 2025

Audacious. Daring. Playful. Hublot has always stood out for its revolutionary spirit in terms of both aesthetic codes and watchmaking innovation. The Big Bang collection, first launched in 2005, is a shining example. Now, in 2025, to mark 20 years of the Big Bang’s unique groundbreaking spirit, Hublot has unveiled a wide range of timepieces at Watches and Wonders 2025 that continue to act as the perfect embodiment of the Big Bang’s bold ethos. We take a closer look at some of our favourites from among the novelties.
Big Bang 20th Anniversary Limited Editions
For each of these five editions, Hublot has revisited some of the most significant milestones in the history of the Big Bang in a true act of fusion, combining the original Big Bang’s design with the current Big Bang Unico. The five editions combine the most emblematic details from the first Big Bang models and the later Big Bang Unico, making these 20th anniversary pieces the perfect bridges between the past, present, and future of the Big Bang. The watches feature a redesigned 43 mm case with the layered construction that the earliest Big Bangs were known for along with their pinched lugs and knurled bezel edges as well as the distinctive Big Bang silhouette. The engraved dials with a carbon fibre-inspired relief motif sport the iconic riveted Arabic numerals and indexes just like the original Big Bangs, but they are filled with Super-LumiNova like the Big Bang Unico models.

While the titanium ceramic model, which is limited to 500 pieces, stands out for the contrasting hues of the polished and satin-finished titanium and the black ceramic, the King Gold ceramic reference — limited to 250 pieces — sports an 18 ct King Gold case that perfectly offsets against the polished black ceramic. Meanwhile, the polished red ceramic model, a 100-piece limited edition, has an even bolder visual impact when compared to the all-black ceramic watch that impresses with its dark, monochrome aesthetics. The Magic Gold edition, a limited edition of 100 pieces, combines the unique 18 ct gold alloy (announced in 2011 as the world’s first and only scratch-resistant 18 ct gold alloy) with a carbon-patterned dial and gilt hands and markers for the perfect futuristic contrast of tones and textures.
Big Bang 20th Anniversary “Master of Sapphire” Set

Limited to just five sets, the Big Bang 20th Anniversary “Master of Sapphire” set features five examples of the Big Bang MECA-10, each housed in a different sapphire or SAXEM case: transparent sapphire, Water Blue sapphire, Deep Blue sapphire, Purple sapphire, and Neon Yellow SAXEM. The five references also sport a transparent strap perfectly matched to the case’s colour as well as the colour accents on the hands and applied markers. This set marks the first time that the MECA-10 calibre is cased in sapphire.
Big Bang 20th Anniversary “Materials & High Complications” Set
A one-of-a-kind set, this spotlights some of Hublot’s greatest accomplishments in both material innovation as well as high-complications movements with its own twists. The five unique models stand out on their own but also tell a story when combined.

Our favourites from the set are the Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic Sapphire that celebrates Hublot’s automatic micro-rotor tourbillon movement in an entirely transparent sapphire crystal case, and the Big Bang Tourbillon Chronograph in Water Blue Sapphire whose skeletonised monopusher chronograph tourbillon calibre appears to float within the tropical blue tones of the crystalline case.
Big Bang One Click Joyful

Adopting the striking colours and gemstones used in earlier renditions of the Big Bang models from the noughties, these five 33 mm-sized references instantly stand out for their sparkling and vibrant energy. This marks the first time that coloured gemstones and matching rubber straps are part of the core collection of the Big Bang One Click.

Each model’s distinct hue extends from the dazzling gemstones of the bezel to the supple coloured rubber of the straps. The watches all feature a glossy white dial, adorned with the Big Bang’s signature alternating Arabic numerals and applied indexes to mark the hours. Motored by the HUB1120 self-winding movement, the watches have a power reserve of 40 hours. The Big Bang One Click Joyful pieces are available on a white lined rubber strap that highlights the layered construction, with a central rubber insert in the same colour as the gemstones. A second strap in the same colour is also included. The straps can be easily swapped using the case’s One Click quick strap-change system.
Big Bang Unico 42 mm and Big Bang One Click 33 mm in Petrol Blue and Mint Green Ceramic

Hublot has built for itself a formidable reputation when it comes to incorporating playful new hues in ceramics. Hublot once again demonstrates this mastery of the material with two new colours, making their debut in two pairs of emblematic Big Bang models: the Big Bang Unico 42 mm and the Big Bang One Click 33 mm. Interestingly, this is the first time that a Big Bang One Click 33 mm model has been crafted in ceramic.

Unisex in their appeal, these two ceramic colours are complementary while being vastly different. The Petrol Blue ceramic is deep and warm, and with just a hint of green, bringing to mind the depths of the open seas and the calm allure of forests. The Mint Green ceramic, on the other hand, takes on a more pastel hue that’s bright and cool. It features a hint of blue that adds a distinct touch of peace and tranquillity. The open dial of the Big Bang Unico and the solid dial of the Big Bang One Click 33 mm also sport the same colour tones as their ceramic cases.
Big Bang Unico Water Blue Sapphire
A limited edition of 50 pieces, this 44 mm Big Bang Unico makes use of Water Blue sapphire, the latest endeavour by Hublot’s R&D department to explore new creative avenues. The light yet intense of the sapphire hue brings to mind tropical, crystal-clear waters. The case and the bezel are matched by the translucent blue rubber strap as well as the blue accents on the open dial’s indexes and hands.

The watch is powered by Hublot’s first in-house developed and manufactured calibre, the Unico. The automatic integrated chronograph movement with a column-wheel clutching system comprises 354 components that guarantee reliability and robustness. The power reserve offered spans 72 hours. The movement is finished in a sleek grey shade to further amplify the visual charm.
