Seven New Reasons to Love the Tissot PR516 Collection
Back-to-back new releases from Tissot demonstrate an outstanding sense of style, historical inspiration, and impressive gameplay, all the while adhering to the brand's relatively low price plan. Following the huge success of the Le Locle collections, Tissot is now putting the PR 516 at the forefront. While the range's expansion may not be as rapid or widespread as its PRX cousin, PR516's next step involves an array of quartz and automated variations, with each movement elevating its signature design, and offering a harmonious blend of reliability, longevity and style. The PR516 series is distinguished by its perforated straps that resemble old racing gloves; it combines retro appeal with sophisticated Swiss craftsmanship.
If we look back in history, Tissot PR516 was created in the 1960s as a tribute to motorsport, which resonated with the era's preoccupation with speed and automotive design. It gained attention for its unusual perforated strap, which was inspired by race car steering wheels, as well as for its sporty, durable appearance. It rapidly became a favourite among both racing aficionados and style-conscious watch lovers, thanks to its dependable automatic movement and bold dials. Over the years, Tissot has updated the PR516 series with modern features while maintaining its vintage charm. Let us now look at what the seven new models of the 2025 PR516 range have to offer.
