Raymond Weil Presents Elegant New Millesime Models at Watches and Wonders 2024

To mark its official debut at Watches and Wonders 2024, Geneva-based Raymond Weil unveiled new additions to its GPHG-winning Millesime collection. Eleven references in total, the novelties embody a flawless mastery of watchmaking expertise while staying true to the brand’s trademark codes of understated, elegant style and an enduring timelessness. Here’s a closer look at the refined new models.

The Small Seconds model is now available in new dial options, including a charming Denim blue

The brand unveiled two new dial colour options for the Millesime Automatic Small Seconds, the model that won the Challenge Prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève 2023: Denim blue (Ref. 2930-STC-5001) and British racing green (Ref. 2930-ST-52001). Housed in the same elegant 39.5mm stainless steel case as earlier, the references’ dials sport delicate, textured finishes and the glassbox sapphire crystals amps up the overall neo-vintage vibe. The small seconds display at 6 o’clock sports the same shades of blue and green as well. While the one with the Denim blue dial is fitted onto a navy blue leather strap with a unique W-stitched detail, the other sports a stainless steel bracelet with double push-security system clasp.

Millesime Automatic Moon Phase

The neo-vintage appeal of the Millesime collection elevates the romanticism of the moonphase

Perfectly combining tributes typical to the Millesime collection with the romanticism of the moonphase complication, these new references flaunt a highly graphic, visually sectorised dial that facilitates a reading of the moon phases that is both dynamic and intuitive in character. Sized at 39.5mm, these models are equipped with the RW4280 automatic movement that offers a comfortable 38-hour power reserve. One of the two presents a sober, contemporary take with the tone-on-tone appeal of a silver dial encased in stainless steel (Ref. 2945-STC-65001). The other ascribes to more traditional sensibilities, marked by the bi-color effect of its rose gold PVD steel case and deep midnight blue dial (Ref. 2945-PC5-50001). The former is available with a grey leather strap and stainless steel buckle; the latter combines a navy blue leather strap with a buckle crafted from stainless steel with rose gold PVD coating.

Dressy yet understated, the new moonphase references make for sophisticated accessories

Creations Catering to the Women of Today

The new 35mm sizes make the 2125 reference more versatile and well-suited to slimmer wrists

Raymond Weil has unveiled special stainless-steel references that are perfect for women and those with smaller wrists. With an elegant diameter of 35mm, the five new models are built around the two flagship references, 2125 and 2145. While the first is equipped with a central seconds hand, the second features a moon phase.

Contemporary yet honouring the collection’s neo-vintage aesthetic, the central seconds model sports three distinct dial colours with geometric lines and a sector dial: silver (Ref. 2125-STC-65001), denim blue (Ref. 2125-SCS-50011) and burgundy (Ref. 2125-P5-45001). The burgundy iteration sports a stainless steel bracelet with rose gold PVD coating; the straps of the other two match the colours of the respective dials. They’re all powered by the self-winding movement RW4200 that has a 38-hour power reserve.

The moonphase models are also available in a smaller, daintier 35mm size

The moonphase models, on the other hand, echo the same visuals as their 39.5mm counterparts with the only difference being that they’re sized at a more petite 35mm. The design appeal of the references is distinguished by the contrast of two colours: rose gold PVD steel/silver dial (Ref. 2145-PC5-05650) and steel/denim blue dial (Ref. 2145-SCS-05511). Both are equipped with RW4280, a mechanical self-winding movement that powers the moon phase at 6 o’clock while offering a power reserve of 38 hours.

Millesime Automatic Chronograph

Available in two colour options, the chronograph is reminiscent of Panda dials

At Watches and Wonders 2024, Raymond Weil also unveiled two new Tri-Compax chronographs that pay homage to famous Panda dials; while one features a black sector dial with black counters (Ref. 7765-STC-20001), the other has a midnight blue sector dial against which the silver counters are harmoniously offset (Ref. 7765-STC-50651). Presented in 39.5mm stainless cases, the models serve as a fitting embodiment of the classic elegance that the Millesime collection is known for while also showcasing a touch of sporty chic. They’re both powered by the mechanical chronograph self-winding movement – RW5030 that offers the wearer a power reserve of 56 hours. To complete the overall elegant sportswear look, the models are fitted with stylish leather straps in either black or midnight blue.
