NORQAIN Launches the Wild ONE Skeleton Coral and Gecko Watches

Announcing tennis legend and multiple Grand Slam Champion Stan Wawrinka as their new partner and ambassador for the latest Wild ONE Skeleton Coral and Wild ONE Skeleton Gecko watches, NORQAIN, an independent, family-owned Swiss watch company, has entered into an exciting growth phase today.

Stan, known for his resilience and sportsmanship, has enjoyed a remarkable career spanning two decades, securing 16 titles, including three Grand Slams, Olympic gold, and the Davis Cup for Switzerland. Leveraging his global recognition and influence, Stan will support NORQAIN's brand expansion, initially focusing on advocating for their acclaimed Wild ONE Skeleton timepieces, feted for their innovative NORTEQ® case construction and high-performance design.

In the forthcoming tennis major season, Stan will wear the Wild ONE Skeleton Coral at the French Open in May, drawing inspiration from the fiery red clay of Roland Garros's courts. Subsequently, at Wimbledon in July, he'll sport the Wild ONE Skeleton Gecko, a nod to the revered grass courts of the tournament.

Adding to the prestigious lineup that has been attracting attention since last summer, the popular Wild ONE Skeleton Turquoise is now accompanied by the new Wild ONE Skeleton Coral and Wild ONE Skeleton Gecko. These additions are derived from the Wild ONE Skeleton 42 mm, a rendition of NORQAIN’s sophisticated sports watch known for its open-worked dial and 5,000g shock resistance. Featuring an innovative case design that incorporates a rubber shock absorber between top and bottom cages crafted from black NORTEQ®, an exclusive carbon fibre composite with lightweight, robust properties, both editions exemplify durability and aesthetic appeal.

Detailing in coral red or gecko green adorns the new editions, aligning them with their respective motifs. Coral red or gecko green rubber shock absorbers, minute markers, and seconds hand outlines accentuate the dials, while luminescent coral red- or gecko green-coloured X1 Super-LumiNova® fills the hour markers, and the hour and minute hands. The watches are complemented by animal cruelty-free black rubber straps featuring a rubber mesh insert in either coral red or gecko green.

Nestled inside the case is the chronometer-certified, 41-hour power reserve-delivering NORQAIN calibre N08S by Sellita, recognisable by its bespoke oscillating weight and visible through the watch’s sapphire caseback. Despite their robust features, both watches weigh a mere 78g and offer a water resistance of 200 metres.
