Elevating a Legacy, Rado Releases Five New Anatom Variants with Sleek High-Tech Ceramic Bracelets

Rado's design philosophy has traditionally focused on geometrically shaped timepieces, which reflect the brand's unique approach to horology. From angular casings to sleek, minimalist forms, the timepiece maker has continuously pushed the bounds of conventional watchmaking by introducing distinctive components. Rounded corners and asymmetrical designs, all made of high-tech materials like ceramic and sapphire crystal, are also part and parcel of Rado’s creative language, ensuring a modern, avant-garde appeal for its products. The iconic Anatom line, relaunched in 2023 with cutting-edge ceramic bezels, combines a range of such distinctive design hallmarks. The family has now been expanded to include five new references that showcase high-tech ceramic bezels and bracelets for a more ergonomic look, compared with the previous variants.

Introduced in late 1983, the Anatom series is distinguished by its remarkable ergonomic design and pioneering craftsmanship. The watches have always been precisely designed to conform to the natural curvature of the wrist. The result: unsurpassed comfort and a seamless fit, achieved with a uniquely curved case and crystal, marking a departure from standard flat watch designs. The line also boasts the brand’s characteristic scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. When launched, the watches featured high-tech ceramic parts, a material that Rado would later become famous for, cementing the brand's status as a pioneer in revolutionary watchmaking. By releasing the Anatom series, Rado laid the groundwork for future breakthroughs in ergonomic watches.

Continuing the legacy, the five new Anatom references include high-tech ceramic bezels, crowns, and bracelets. While there are design variations among the references, they all have cases that are 32.5 mm in diameter, 11.3 mm in thickness, and 46.3 mm in length. Ref.
