Breitling Unveils the Chronomat Automatic 36 Victoria Beckham Collection
Victoria Beckham dons many hats: fashion designer, singer, TV personality and now, the celebrated fashion house creative director has joined hands with Breitling to release the Chronomat Automatic 36 Victoria Beckham collection. Co-designed by Beckham, the collection — limited to just 1,500 pieces — combines her iconic signature style with the classic yet versatile spirit of the Chronomat.
Breitling Chronomat Automatic 36: Fashionable and Functional
The Chronomat already enjoys a reputation of being a chic, all-purpose timepiece, particularly popular among women, and this new collaboration enhances that fun, feminine spirit even more.
The Victoria Beckham collection retains the classic Chronomat features, such as the metal rouleaux bracelet and raised rider tabs at the 15-minute mark, and introduces new colourways inspired by Beckham’s own Spring/Summer 2024 palette, including peppermint, midnight blue, dove grey, and sand.
The collection features both the Breitling logo on the dial and Victoria Beckham’s initials on the seconds hand, with a choice of cases in stainless steel or yellow gold, a material specially revived by Breitling for use on this line. Sized at 36 mm, the references are ideal for slimmer wrists and for those unafraid of sporting smaller-dialled watches.
Playful Picks
While the stainless steel models (Refs. A103801A1C1A1, A103801A1G1A1 or A103801A1L1A1) sport dials in the shades of midnight blue, peppermint or dove grey with lab-grown diamond hour markers, the yellow gold timepieces (Refs. K103801A1C1K1, K103801A1L1K1 or K103801A1A1K1) have dials coloured midnight blue, peppermint or sand. The dials also reference the limitation: “One of 400” for each of the stainless-steel pieces and “One of 100” for each of the gold variations. On closer inspection, the wearer will notice the VB logo and inscription on the bracelet.
The Chronomat Automatic 36 Victoria Beckham — powered by the self-winding three-hand movement, Breitling Caliber 10 — has a running time of approximately 42 hours off the wrist. Like all Breitling watches, each piece has achieved Contrôle officiel suisse des chronomètres (COSC) certification, a distinguished independent validation of its precision and performance. The water resistance of all the new references is 100 metres.
The collection’s stunning campaign, shot by legendary Italian fashion photographer Mario Sorrenti, features rising star Annemary Aderibigbe, a model who embodies the essence of both the Breitling and Victoria Beckham woman: strength, sophistication, and a touch of the unexpected. The collection itself embodies Breitling's continued commitment, since 2018, to expanding its women’s watch offerings; it’s a celebration of women who are bold, authentic, and unapologetically confident.
