Faithful to its heritage of craftsmanship, H. Moser & Cie. has unveiled a reinterpretation of its iconic fumé dials at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2025. This year, the brand highlights the ancestral art of enamelling with a resolutely contemporary approach. This expertise gives rise to an original, bright, and vibrant shade, the hammered texture of which creates a captivating play of light. Housed in a 40 mm steel case and powered by an HMC 201 automatic movement, the Endeavour Centre Seconds Concept Purple Enamel makes its debut at this prestigious horological event, combining the timeless elegance of a three-hand watch with bold aesthetics and powerful charisma.
Reinvented Enamel: The Captivating Purple Haze
The heart of the Endeavour Centre Seconds Concept Purple Enamel, showcased at the ongoing Watches and Wonders, lies in its mesmerising dial. H. Moser & Cie. has revisited the ancestral grand feu enamelling technique, breathing new life into this precious art form to align with modern sensibilities, a highlight of their 2025 offerings. The journey begins with a white gold base, meticulously engraved with a textured motif that creates a captivating hammered effect. This intricate surface serves as the foundation for the vibrant colour that defines this timepiece ― a true spectacle at the Geneva fair.

Six enamel pigments, each in a different hue, are carefully washed and finely crushed before getting painstakingly applied in a delicate gradation across the dial. The master enameller dedicates hours to precisely adjusting each shade, ensuring a harmonious blend during the successive firings in the grand feu oven. This meticulous process, demanding multiple firings to achieve H. Moser & Cie.’s signature fumé effect, results in an extraordinary depth of colour, enhanced by the inherent transparency of the enamel.

The captivating shade, aptly named Purple Haze, is particularly challenging to achieve, making each dial a unique work of art. In keeping with the brand’s “Concept” ethos, the dial is presented in complete purity, devoid of any logo or indices, allowing the beauty of the enamel to speak for itself, a bold statement at the Geneva event. Time is indicated by elegant leaf-shaped hour and minute hands, complemented by a striking purple central seconds hand.
Timeless Elegance Meets Bold Aesthetics

Housed in a refined steel case with a diameter of 40 mm and a height of 11.2 mm, the Endeavour Centre Seconds Concept Purple Enamel, a key release at Watches and Wonders, embodies the classic elegance of a three-hand watch. This seemingly simple configuration demands impeccable technical mastery, wherein every detail is paramount. H. Moser & Cie. has taken this timeless foundation and injected it with a daring touch; the vibrant Purple Haze enamel dial turns convention on its head, garnering wide attention in Geneva. A sapphire crystal protects the watch and features a see-through caseback, offering a glimpse into the intricate mechanics within, a feature appreciated by connoisseurs at Watches and Wonders. The crown, adorned with the signature "M", adds a subtle touch of branding.
The Power Within: The HMC 201 Calibre
Beating at the heart of this exceptional timepiece, a technical marvel presented at Watches and Wonders, is the 100% Swiss mechanical Manufacture movement: the HMC 201 automatic calibre, which has a diameter of 32 mm or 14 1/4 lignes, and a height of 5.5 mm. This meticulously engineered movement comprises 27 jewels and operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour.

It features an automatic bi-directional pawl winding system, ensuring efficient energy transfer to the mainspring, providing a power reserve of a minimum of three days. The HMC 201 calibre is equipped with a regulating organ manufactured by H. Moser & Cie.'s sister company, Precision Engineering AG, featuring an original Straumann® hairspring and a distinctive double hairspring. The movement also boasts hacking seconds for precise time settings. Thanks to its open architecture with partially skeletonised bridges finished in an ultra-modern anthracite grey with Moser double stripes, the components are beautifully revealed, a detail sure to impress attendees at Watches and Wonders 2025.

This elegant opening allows the wearer to admire the wheels of the gear train, the central seconds mechanism, and the bi-directional automatic winding system. The solid 18-carat gold oscillating weight has also been openworked, ensuring an unobstructed view of the movement.
The Final Touch: A Purple Kudu Leather Strap
Completing this powerfully bold creation, unveiled at the ongoing Watches and Wonders, is a hand-stitched purple kudu leather strap. The velvety texture and deep hue of the leather seamlessly extend the intensity of the Purple Haze dial, providing the perfect final touch to this unique timepiece. Secured with a steel pin buckle, the strap ensures both comfort and security on the wrist. The reference number for this steel model with the Purple Haze fumé dial and purple kudu leather strap is 1201-1200, a key identifier for enthusiasts at the Geneva event.

The H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Centre Seconds Concept Purple Enamel, presented at Watches and Wonders 2025, is more than just a watch; it is a testament to the brand's unique take on haute horlogerie, wherein traditional craftsmanship is reimagined with a contemporary vision, resulting in a timepiece that is both technically exceptional and aesthetically captivating, a true highlight of the Geneva showcase.
