As dawn’s first light graces the Earth, its golden rays find their way to Cartier’s Maison: only to start a bold new chapter in horology. Call it magic or serendipity, the rays continue to flow eternally through the all-new untamed Tank, the alchemy of Tressage and the blazing Panthere that stares deep into the passage of time. There is no escape. Surrender, as GMT India delves into Cartier’s most dazzling marvels at the grandest watch gala of the year.
Tressage: The Watchmaking Sculpture
Like a magician, Cartier transforms gold, diamonds and stones into distinctive volumes that gather beauty, slowly and unexpectedly – forming Tressage, an exquisite high-jewellery watch. Tension and sensuality runs deep as the energy of creative freedom takes over, defying traditional codes.

Delicate yet assertive, the Tressage comes in four variants where gold and diamonds twist elegantly around a rectangular dial, shimmering with snow-set diamonds. Completing this refined aesthetic are lustrous leather straps in distinct shades of beige, black, navy and deep blue. Equipped with quartz precision, the watch measures 56.2 x 25.7 mm, has a thickness of 11.5 mm and ensures water resistance up to 3 bar (30 meters).
Through these creations: where the round contrasts with the linear, Cartier honours the legacy of Jeanne Toussaint, the first female creative director at Cartier, appointed in 1933. The voluptuous twists in volumes, embody the circularity of life, bridging yesterday with tomorrow.
Tank LC Grows in Size
A direct descendant of the legendary Tank Normale, the Tank Louis Cartier evolves and turns mightier with an elongated case, refined brancards and softened angles, all while staying true to its signature rectangular form. Assisted by a new generation of mechanical Manufacture movement named 1899 MC, the Tank is here to occupy more space this season.

Offered in two exquisite variations, the first one comes in rose gold paired with a semi-matte grey alligator leather strap and the second in yellow gold with a semi-matte brown alligator leather strap. Measuring 38.1 x 27.75 mm with an 8.18 mm thickness, it is water-resistant up to 3 bar (approximately 30 metres).
A true classic of the Maison, each model pays tribute to the iconic features of the Tank: the railway track, Roman numerals, parallel brancards, blued-steel sword-shaped hands and a beaded winding crown, set with a sapphire or ruby cabochon.
Read Time Differently with Tank à Guichets
As Cartier grows more audacious, it does not shy away from transforming the way we experience time. Stripping away excess, it unveils Tank à Guichets, whose design-forward minimalism presents the most unconventional spin by displaying time discreetly through two refined apertures, only.
The new Tank à Guichets watch is powered by the hand-wound 9755 MC movement, a calibre with jumping hours and dragging minutes, crafted exclusively for this timepiece. Like the original, the winding crown is positioned at 12 o’clock and the satin-finish case contrasts with the polished horizontal brancards, enhancing the watch’s silhouette. The central face is in brushed gold or platinum which comes in three variants with green, dark grey and burgundy alligator leather strap.

The second platinum model, limited to a numbered edition of 200 pieces, features two apertures positioned at an angle with a winding crown at 10 o'clock. This variant comes in black alligator leather strap and is tough to look away from.
Panthère Meets the Jewellery Watch
This is where Cartier decides to have the most fun by bringing two faces tête-à-tête in a singular watch. In this hybrid architecture, the feline stares deep into the annals of time as watchmaking intertwines with jewellery. The three-dimensional panther that’s ready to pounce, remains suspended against the ever-moving time, embedded in the ‘Toi & Moi’ bracelet. In the heart of Cartier’s atelier, light is not merely an element — it becomes a muse. This watch in white gold variant, sparkles with the light of 1100 diamonds, which was concluded after 230 hours of meticulous jewellery-making.

Crafted with painstaking candour and care, this watch cum bracelet is available in yellow and white gold, with diamond-paved bezel and a diamond hour marker at 12 o'clock. Within the yellow gold variant, sit 23 brilliant cut diamonds while the panther is adorned with tsavorite eyes, onyx nose and black lacquer spots. While the white gold variant, is set with 1103 brilliant-cut diamonds and the panther adorned with emerald eyes, onyx nose and spots.
The high jewellery timepiece comes in three wrist sizes: 150/160/170 mm.
Panthère De Cartier Emerges an Icon
Sticking true to its DNA, Cartier reimagines time by blending jewellery with high end watchmaking. Part zebra, part tiger -- the design dons mystery, as diamonds delicately enhance its wild aura.

This graphic composition of animal motif expands beyond the dial to immerse the bracelet in orange and yellow diamonds: an affair so absurd that it's awe inspiring. Brazen and untamed, the Panther is the culmination of black and golden-brown lacquer, brilliant-cut diamonds and orange-yellow spessartites (mineral garnets) that arose from the desire of working with hands and fire within the Maison.
Offered in four stunning renditions in rose or yellow gold, this watch enchants with a diamond-set bezel and a refined crown at 3 o’clock. Featuring Quartz movement, it boasts dimensions of 30.3 mm x 22 mm, a slender 6.05 mm profile, and water resistance up to 3 bar (up to 30 metres).
